BANG BANG CHICKEN RECIPE

We used to always get Bang Bang Shrimp at a restaurant we loved in Florida called Bonefish Grill. Since I don’t always have shrimp on hand, I thought a chicken version would be great.

This chicken has a sweet and tangy sauce that elevates it from boring chicken! I love eating it with avocado and cucumber to give it creaminess and crunch. The original recipe is fried but this is a lightened up version.

INGREDIENTS:

  • BONELESS SKINLESS CHICKEN BREASTS – Season chicken breast with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. You can also use chicken thighs or tenderloin.
  • MAYONNAISE – This is the base of the bang bang sauce.
  • SWEET CHILI SAUCE – This adds a little heat.
  • RICE WINE VINEGAR – This gives the sauce a little tang.
  • HONEY – This adds a little sweetness.

CAN I USE OTHER PROTEINS?

Yes, this would be great with shrimp or salmon.
