I’m from Belgium and I hope you will add me to your mailinglist. For me it is a little bit difficult to measure (we have kg, gram, liter, deciliter etc…) It is diffrent for measuring liquids, flower, sugar, butter, oil etc…in cups….
Do you have a solution for me and my friends ?

    • Nicole De Voecht,
I presently reside in Alaska, USA. While living in Europe and obtaining recipes from ‘local’ and ‘Aussie’ friends, I too found the measurements challenging. It appears Belgium uses the metric system by your comment above? I’m thinking if your type in ‘cooking measurement equivalents – fact monster’ into your computer’s search engine, you’ll find useful conversion charts. Hope this helps!

      And Christy,
I hope you don’t mind my response here. BTW absolutely love your food creativity!! I’m presently whipping up the turkey cupcakes to post to my children away at school and share with elderly neighbors. So cute!!!
      Thanks for the idea,
      Jean Gerd

  34. Hi Christy,
First of all….I LOVE all your recipes, especially the Mexican and Italian.
I have lived in Phoenix, Arizona most of my adult life and like you…learned to LOVE Mexican food.
I have always believed that burritos were made with flour tortillas and enchiladas were made with corn tortillas.
I am now seeing so many recipes that use flour tortillas to make enchiladas and it does not seem right !
Please give me your thoughts on corn verses flour, if you please.
