  1. oh my word!! Yummy!!

  2. Just copied the recipe. You forgot to put the beans in the skillet.

  3. Can’t I just email the recipes to myself? They all sound terrific, but I am currently in the hospital for a while so I can’t try them yet. I don’t subscribe to Facebook or any other.
    Thanks

  4. Perfect weeknight dinner for the whole family, love this!

  5. There are 4 things I love the most about this recipe: it’s an instant sensorial trip to Mexico, it’s quick to prepare and delicious, you don’t end up with piles of pans and dishes to wash after dinner and it makes the perfect meal for a relaxed Friday dinner after a whole week of hard work!

  6. Easy does it with this skillet recipe! I love that it’s not too complicated and quick enough for weekdays. Thanks for sharing! Definitely trying this.

  7. Thank you for sharing such an easy recipe, perfect for any weeknight, even with lots of kids activities and such. And I love the whole one-skillet meal; less clean up is always better, too!

  8. Becky Martinez says:

    YUM!
I prepared this recipe the same day you sent it out. My husband & I loved it, and we had left overs for lunch! It was delicious, easy to prepare, & I’ve forwarded the recipe to 6 coworkers that thought it smelled incredible during lunch!

Thank you for posting recipes that busy people can cook successfully 🙂

  9. I know you said you fixed it, but I’m still not seeing when you add the beans…is it with the taco seasoning, etc?

  10. What a great idea to put tortilla strips into burrito skillet. Looks so delicious. I should make it for dinner!

  11. I made this last night for dinner and it was SO good! I followed the recipe exactly and everyone loved it! definitely saving this recipe!!

  13. Anne Mortensen says:

Made this tonight and it was one of the easiest meals to make and clean up! Delicious, too! My whole family of six ate it without any complaints. Quite a miracle😉. Thanks!

  14. very delicious cant wait to try it

  15. Have you tried this with corn tortillas? I have some that don’t hold up very well so I’ve been using them for enchilada casseroles and such. Thanks!

  16. Greetings from Mexico, Great little dish, though for me it took more like 15 min or so for the sauce to thicken, I suspect i may not have put enough meat in there but it was good non the less. If you having a hard time finding taco seasoning, you can put a tablespoon of Cumin, Salt and pepper to taste, some paprika and a little salted garlic powder and it will come out great.

  17. Would it be possible to substitute refried beans for the black beans?

  18. Made this tonight. We really liked it! I used salsa verde instead of chunky salsa. Otherwise followed the recipe. Thank you!
