Zesty Crockpot BBQ Chicken
This zesty Crockpot BBQ Chicken is made from just a few ingredients and creates a tender juicy chicken dinner.
SLOW COOKER BBQ CHICKEN
Sometimes you just need a dinner that you can prep in 5 minutes because you know you’re going to be gone all day. This is it. You can eat it plan or on hamburger buns.
INGREDIENTS
- BARBECUE SAUCE – I like Sweet Baby Ray’s bbq sauce or for a sugar free version I like G Hughes.
- ITALIAN DRESSING – The copycat Olive Garden dressing sold at the store is the one I use.
- BROWN SUGAR – This sweetens up the chicken a bit. I have used Monkfruit as a substitute.
- WORCHESTERSHIRE SAUCE – This adds some savory flavor.

Instructions
- Place chicken in slow cooker. Season chicken with salt and pepper. Mix together the rest of the ingredients and pour over the chicken. Cook on low for 5-6 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
This was so easy, and so good. I added half of a small onion, finely diced, but everything else was as you wrote it. We really enjoyed it. A fantastic return on the time it took to prepare! Will definitely make again. A keeper for sure.
