Crunchy Ice Cream Dessert
This Crunchy Ice Cream Dessert layers has of coconut, crushed cornflakes, brown sugar, and melted butter.

CRISPY DESSERT
Who doesn’t love ice cream with a crispy mixture on top and bottom. You can slice it into squares and top with strawberries, whipped cream, and chocolate sauce.
HOW TO MAKE THIS

In a medium bowl, mix the Corn Flakes, brown sugar, coconut, and butter together.

In a 9×13 casserole dish layer half of the Corn Flake mixture on bottom.
Slice ice cream into 3/4 inch slices and place on top of the Corn Flake mixture.
Sprinkle the other half of the Corn Flake mixture on top of the ice cream. Put in the freezer to chill.
Serve plain or with whipped cream, sliced strawberries or chocolate sauce.

- 1 cup sweetened coconut flakes
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 half gallon vanilla ice cream, (2 quarts or 8 cups)

We love Rice Krispies better but either way it is delicious. Â Toast the coconut and pecans too!!! Â It is greatÂ
i am not a big fan of coconut so i replaced the coconut with 1/2 cup peanut butter crunchy it was amazing

Great question! A couple of my old recipes say cube. Sorry. A cube is equal to a 1/2 cup of butter.
how much is a cube of butter?
