It has been a while since I did a my favorite things post but I felt like it was time. Whether it’s a gift for yourself or for someone else, I’ve got you covered. I partnered up with some friends so to see all of the Favorite Things posts head over to 320 Sycamore.

I may earn commissions for purchases made through links on this post.

This Buxom lip gloss was given to me at a favorite things party with the Miami Dolphins wives a couple of years ago. Specifically the color “rose julep” the wife who gave it out said, “Looks good on everyone.” She was right. The texture and the consistency of this lip gloss is perfection. I have it in multiple colors. I will say that the color on the outside is way darker than how it shows up on your lips.

I’m not a gadget girl in the kitchen and have always felt like you can get most cooking done with the bare essentials. This Alligator Chopper however, is kind of an essential in my opinion. I had to make Pico de Gallo for 35 people last week. Done in 10 minutes! It chops perfectly even.

These Peepers sunglasses were also given to me at a favorite things party and I’ve worn them ever since. They’re inexpensive enough that if I happen to drop them at the bottom of Lake Powell (ahem), I will recover.

My dad passed away earlier this year and my friends gave me a Minky Couture Blanket as a sympathy gesture. We have a few blankets on our couches and this one is the one everyone reaches for. Minky Coutoure just reached out to me give 45% off with the code CHRISTYD45!

When I’m feeling overwhelmed I love lighting this Leaves candle from Bath and Body Works. My friend texted me the other day that if there was only one thing she could thank me from our friendship it would be that I introduced her to this candle.

I know this might sound like a strange one but music is such a big part of my life. It soothes my soul. I have an ongoing playlist called “chill” on my Amazon Music app that I play in our house all day long. It’s currently at 180 songs. Anytime I hear a song that speaks to me or if the kids mention a song they like, we add it to the list. They’ve become our family’s songs, embedded in their memories.

We have had Taco Tuesday every flippin’ Tuesday since the Lego Movie came out in 2014. Which means I brown a lot of ground beef and this Meat Chopper is life changer.

I realize this is not going to be a popular opinion but these CRZY YOGA leggings from Amazon are 1/5 of the price of Lululemon leggings and I prefer them over Lulu. The end.

This feels a little self promotional but my new cookbook Scrumptious is only one week old and I’ve already cooked out of it every day! Filled with over 100 family friendly recipes, this is my baby this year that I know you’ll love.

I was not blessed with long lashes. I’ve probably used this for 6 years. So long that I stopped using it because I thought my lashes were long (I forgot). Guess what? I didn’t realize what a difference it made until I stopped using Babe Lash and now I’m on month 4 of being back in the lash game. Since I’ve posted, BABELASH gave me a promo code. 15% off with the code “thegirlwho8everything”.

Hope you enjoyed this. What are some of your favorite things?
