Chocolate Peanut Butter Pretzel Ritz Bars
These Chocolate Peanut Butter Pretzel Ritz Bars are seriously to die for! They taste similar to a Reese’s Peanut Butter cup but with crunchy pretzels too for extra salty crunch. These may be some of my favorite treats I’ve ever made.
CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER PRETZEL RITZ BARS
When cravings hit these Chocolate Peanut Butter Pretzel Ritz Bars are sure to satisfy. I’m notorious for getting a craving at 9pm and running to the kitchen to whip something up.
I usually have plates of treats at all times sitting in my kitchen because I’m a freak like that. These remind me of these Homemade Reese’s Bars but have Ritz and pretzels for a salty bite.
Believe it or not I’ve developed a little self control over the 6 years that I’ve had this blog. And by self control I mean that instead of eating a whole plate of brownies in one sitting, I’ll eat one or two.
I know a lot of people talk a big game but those of you who know me know that my love for food is real. Being in the kitchen with food, is my happy place.
The before mentioned self control, yep…out the window with these. I couldn’t stop eating them. I even wrapped them tightly in foil and put them in the other room so I would stop thinking about them.
If you store them in the fridge they are firm but left out at room temperature they get softer…which is how I like them.

I am wondering if these cut easily?
Yes, for easier and cleaner cutting chill the bars before cutting.
What a beautiful post! This all looks so delicious! I would love to try
it soon. Thanks for sharing with us.
Do you think that I could substitute semi sweet chips for the milk chocolate chips? Anyone tried it?
You definitely can!
Has anyone subbed regular sugar for the powdered? I’m out of powdered and I was planning on bringing these to a cookout this afternoon!
I hope you did not do this lol.
Oh, as soon as I saw these on Facebook (via Two Peas and Their Pod) I knew I had to make them for my chocolate and peanut butter loving family! They were a definite hit with all of us! Thanks for the recipe- it’s my favorite kind- simple yet delicious!
I know, right!
is it one cup crushed before crushing or after?
1 cup after crushing.
This is my new favorite sweet recipe!!! It is to die for! So delicious! Easy, too! I made them to bring to a Super Bowl party, & I want to keep them & not share them! Smile!
Haha. I had that problem too.
I made these tonight along with your Cauliflower Soup (which was awesome too) and justified it by saying the kids would need a bribe for finishing dinner. They did fine with the soup anyway, but good gravy, these are awesome! Kind of wishing I’d halved the recipe because having leftovers hanging around the house tomorrow is going to be killer! Thanks for the amazing (and SIMPLE!!) recipe!
You’re welcome. I love them too!
You’ve made my morning…. I think I have everything to make these awesome bars! They look delicious! Your blog is one of my favorite recipe blogs, so keep up the yummy work!
Oh Leslie, you made my morning! You’re so nice.
These look anazing. I love sweet and salty combos. I think I will try these this weekend. I will reference your blog and will post pics on my blog.
My boyfriend can’t eat dairy, so I’ll substitute with non-dairy butter. Can’t wait to try them!
MMMMM I love sweet and salty combos!
Rookie question here. Do you measure the one cup before or after crushing? I can’t wait to make these!
I do it after crushing. Thanks for asking.
I love that you use two types of peanut butter! Obsessed with everything about these bars.
Really you could just use one or the other. I love the crunch that crunchy adds to the bars but crunchy doesn’t look as pretty on top.
I’m going to have to try these.Yummy for my tummy!!
I would have no self control with these either – they look so incredibly delicious!!
Salty and sweet, the perfect dessert!
PB, chocolate, and pretzels – how can you not love it?! This looks super delicious, thanks for sharing!!
I’m loving the salty pretzels in these sweet bars! YUM

These look simply divine! Bang goes the January diet! 🙂
The best of all things combined. Looks like perfection to me!
Wow, I am so making this. I love both peanut butter and pretzels.
What a winning combination…peanut butter, chocolate and pretzels. These sounds delicious!
These look great! I made a similar version of these but I’ll definitely give these a go too. Here’s the recipe for mine if anyone is interested, I’d appreciate if you’d check it out:
