White Bean and Sausage Soup

This White Bean and Sausage Soup is from my friend Steph only has six ingredients and has spicy sausage, basil, tomatoes, and beans!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb mild or hot Italian sausage
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 (15 oz) cans white cannellini beans rinsed and drained
  • 32 oz chicken broth (I use Better than Bouillon Base)
  • 28 oz can Italian style diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot or dutch oven, brown the sausage. Drain. Add the garlic and sautee for one minute.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients (except the basil) and simmer for 15-20 minutes to let the flavors blend. Stir in the basil and serve.
