Green chilies are the secret ingredient to make these sliders spicy! I think the one thing that people don’t like about chicken burgers is the texture. The secret to making these amazing is to add some breadcrumbs and Panko breadcrumbs to give them a crispy texture.
Preheat the grill to medium high heat and oil the grate.
In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, green chiles, breadcrumbs, Panko breadcrumbs, garlic, salt, oregano, and onion powder. Mix well and form into 6-8 patties depending on the size you want.
Grill the patties for 5-7 minutes or until no longer pink. Turn off the grill and add a slice of cheese on top. Shut the grill and allow the cheese to melt.
Serve on buns and top with salsa and guacamole.
