Preheat oven to 375 degrees F and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Add the eggs and vanilla. Mix until combined.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until combined. Add the macadamia nuts and white chocolate chips. Stir until combined.
Scoop 2 tablespoons of dough for each cookie and place at least 2 inches apart on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the edges of the cookies are just starting to brown.
Remove from the oven and allow the cookies to sit on the pan for a few minutes before removing to a wire rack. Press additional chocolate chips and nuts on top. Sprinkle with a little bit of sea salt. Store baked cookies in an airtight container.
