This Easy Baked Chicken Parmesan is my go-to easy dinner when I don't have anything planned because I always have all the ingredients on hand. Make it a complete Italian meal served over spaghetti with a green salad.
4chicken breasts, If your chicken breasts are thick, butterfly them or pound them with a meat mallet so they are thinner.
1/4cupbutter, melted
1cupParmesan cheese
1cupItalian breadcrumbs
1/2teaspoongarlic powder
jar of marinara sauce
mozzarella cheese
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking dish with foil and spray with cooking spray.
Mix the Parmesan cheese, bread crumbs, and garlic powder in a shallow dish. It really doesn’t matter how much Parmesan cheese and bread crumbs you have just make sure it’s equal parts. Melt butter in a shallow bowl. Dip the chicken in the melted butter, then the bread crumb mixture then place on the baking sheet.
Bake for 30-35 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink. Spoon some marinara sauce over the middle of the chicken and sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top for the last 5-10 minutes of baking. Serve over cooked spaghetti with more marinara sauce.
