Bugs and Kisses Halloween Favors
Halloween is upon us and you suddenly realize you have no idea what to send in with your child for their classroom Halloween party. Have no fear. These Bugs and Kisses Halloween Favors are just the thing! They are so incredibly easy to put together even little hands can help.
I love it when I’m able to create a printable that uses a cute play on words. Bugs and Kisses is of course a fun play on “Hugs and Kisses”. Throw together plastic bug rings and HERSHEY’S Kisses and you have a fun Halloween Party Favor that classmates of all ages will love.

The Goods
Striped Treat Boxes (Target)
Pipe Cleaners
Hold Punch
HERSHEY’S Kisses
Plastic Bugs (Target)
Baker’s Twine
Shredded Paper (optional)
I love making baskets out of those little paper candy cups that you see all over. In this case I used these striped boxes that I found at Target. They were the perfect size for this project.
I poked 2 holes in each box on opposite sides and then added the pipe cleaner as the handle. The pipe cleaners need to be cut in half because leaving it full length will be too long. Once you have all of your baskets made you can fill them up with festive shredded paper and toss a bunch of kisses on top. Finish it off by slipping a bug ring onto the pipe cleaner handle and tie a tag on it.
Just in case you love this idea but don’t love the “Bugs and Kisses” or maybe can’t find any bugs, I’ve created a fun skull candy Trick or Treat tag that you can use instead.
To use the Bugs and Kisses and Trick or Treat tags you will need to download and print the file onto white card stock. Cut out with paper cutter or scissors. Each tag is about an inch in size.
Remember, all designs are © The Girl Creative for The Girl Who Ate Everything and are free for personal use only.
