I’ve never been a fan of green smoothies which seems to be super popular right now. Every one I’ve tried has been nas-tay! And NO, I’m not expecting them it to taste like an Oreo shake from Sonic…but how nice would that be?

This green almond smoothie that my friend Jenna sent me was awesome! I’ve known Jenna since high school and now she’s in New York living the life. She’s also known as Mommy in Manhattan, her blog about life in New York. It’s everything from flying through the air in trapeze school, showing us how to tightline our eyes, or running into celebrities at the grocery store.

I love living vicariously through her escapades and her blog is a one stop shop for me to get a style update since I’m too busy looking at food blogs. I’m lucky if I can grab a shirt and throw it in my cart while I’m at Target. Jenna’s blog makes me want to move to New York someday so she can dress me and put some eyelash extensions on me!

She’s doing a giveaway today for some cute girl headbands and accessories so head on over and enter. I just entered because we know I’m terrible at anything crafty and I would love some cute hair accessories for my baby girl.

Here’s Mommy in Manhattan and her cute family…

This green smoothie is full of vitamins and nutrients. It’s packed full of spinach – but seriously doesn’t taste like spinach at all. I even was able to get my kids to drink it. Jenna’s trick to getting her kids to drink it is by putting the smoothie in colored cups with lids and a straw.
