Limeade Punch
I swore off making punch ten years ago when I made it for a bridal shower and it ended up looking like foamy dirty dish water. Not only was it a lot of work, it didn’t even taste good. But just like mushrooms and fish, I decided even punch deserved a second chance.
Just know that if you do use frozen raspberries after a while they leave a red glow. I think it’s pretty! |
Limeade Punch
Ingredients
- 1 12 ounce can frozen limeade concentrate
- 1 2 liter bottle Sprite
- frozen raspberries or sliced limes for garnish
- ice
Instructions
- Pour the frozen limeade concentrate in a large bowl and add the Sprite. I like my punch on the tart side so I add about 3/4 of a bottle of Sprite. Add ice, sliced limes, and frozen raspberries if desired.
- Got Sonic Fever? Turn it into cherry limeade by adding the juice of 1 (10 ounce) jar of maraschino cherries. Add an additional can of frozen limeade for some extra tartness and garnish with the reserved maraschino cherries.
I have done this recipe for 40 plus years but float frozen strawberries in it.
Yum!
Thank you for some other fantastic article.
The place else could anyone get that type of info in such a perfect method
of writing? I have a presentation next week, and I am on the search for such information.
In our version we floated a half-gallon of lime sherbet in the limeade/Sprite mix. Spike with vodka if you want an adult beverage.
I’d like to make an alcoholic version of this for a gathering – any idea what proportion of rum to add?
Sorry Sarah. I don’t drink so I have no idea how much.
Looks great! Do you need to thaw the limeade concentrate before you make the punch?
Nope! No thawing necessary.
This one is so smart and so easy to do… amazing !! i love the frozen rasberries
My mom was talking about throwing me a baby shower and I mentioned this punch. She said, “how ’bout the one with sherbet” and I cringed and told her I’d send her the link to this. ha!
There’s no Sonic near me, but after working at one for 4 years through high school and college I’ve eaten enough sonic to last me for life, so I’m not that sad about it, especially since I know how they make the cherry-limade. Sprite, lemon juice, cherry syrup a lime wedge and a cherry. Can’t get much easier than that.
This will be perfect for a baby shower my friends and I are hosting in 2 weeks – thanks! It looks so pretty too!
this looks so refreshing!
you should try Wal-Mart’s brand of sparkling lemonade’s. They have a sparkling blueberry one that is so good (and zero cals)! they have a limeade one too.
I love Sonic’s limeade. They’ll add extra lime for free too! Extra pucker is always good.

This is exactly like my recipe for daquiri punch. Just add rum.
I think this sounds delicious!
LOL! I found you on I heart naptime! I’m your newest follower!
Yummmm Sonic! That looks so good!
Punch is my favorite part of any shower! I’m a big fan of the cherry limeade so I’m sure I’d love this 🙂

Wait… WHAT? No Sonic near you? That is the saddest thing I have heard all day! LOL! I love to go get Route 44 Sonic drinks (cherry limeade defiantly a favorite as well as vanilla coke and diet Dr. Pepper) during their daily happy hour!
Oh and I always forget to make punch or drinks when I am hosting get together. Love the look of the raspberries in this!
I too have had a similar “punch folly” and this looks great. On the side….you DO NOT wish Sonic was near you. sure they’re great for every once and while but they’re expensive (for fast food) and ADDICTING!
My mouth won’t stop watering! I love Sonic Cherry Limeades, they are fantastic. Now they have diet ch. lm. It is not quite as good, but the largest ch. lm is 464 calories! lol Thanks for sharing this easy recipe!

I’m such a big fan of punch! This sounds lovely. Great recipe!
I made Cherry Limeade for my bridal and baby girl shower. Very cute.. I add lime slices and cherries into the punch with it. For the baby shower I floated pink rubber duckies in the punch bowl. mMmmMmm.
I love Sonic’s Cherry Limeades, and can hardly wait for an opportunity to make this punch…or maybe I’ll make it for no special reason, it just sounds that good!
